American Super Model has been playing together since the 90's (no member changes) and are addicted to all forms of rock n' roll. Bran Hess (vocals/guitar) has an honest approach to delivering his hook laden and strong melodic voice. His lyrics yet thought provoking, are delivered with just enough tongue-n-cheek to make you smile. Steve Marotta (guitar/vocals), with the ear to dissect any song, has the ability to write the perfect line for any emotion. He can wrap you up in melodic phrasings or knock down the walls with blistering solos. Bryon Sobtzak (bass/vocals), can lay the perfect foundation, so the melody of the song can stand firmly on both legs and pack the K.O. He can also play within his own lines and create many different textures. Shane Cohn (drums/vocals), has a very direct "keep it simple" style about his playing. He likes to plot the course, keep time and hear the song for what it is. Shane can take the floor and not get in the way at the same time. Their individual and collective influences are so vast, that any street you will turn on, will be the direction you want to travel.

American Super Model is simply the best rock n' roll band I've seen or listened to in a long time. They have taken what was once great about music, put it together and have become one of the best new rock outfits on the planet. The blue-collar dedication and approach to the writing makes their music really easy to hear and fall in love with. Earnest and Loud, simple and snotty, thoughtful and fun are just some of the things that come to mind when listening to A.S.M..
